PROTABACO — TOBACCO MACHINERY COMPONENTS
Protabaco holds more than 700,000 components in its own warehouses in Santiago and Sarmenstorf. All of it is stock we own outright, acquired legally, and held unused in as-supplied condition.
Alongside the spare parts we keep a technical reference library: over 200,000 drawings and more than 2,000 machine manuals. We use it to identify a component, confirm which version a given machine takes, and check whether a part that has been reworked on the line still holds its original dimensions.
The business is led by people with more than thirty years in cigarette machinery, and our supply relationships are with established industrial manufacturers who have served this industry for decades.
When a line stops, the question is not who can find the part. It is who already has it.
Primary depth across Molins, Hauni and G.D. We also stock Focke, SASIB and AMF.
We do not supply parts for current-generation machines. On recent equipment the drawings remain under active manufacturer contract and no parallel supply exists. For Focke and G.D. our availability is limited to what we already hold in stock. Where we cannot supply, we will tell you rather than offer a substitute.
This is a fraction of what we hold. If you don’t see it, send us the part number and we will check it against the drawings.
We also buy and sell complete machines. Units move through our warehouses regularly and we normally hold several in our own stock. Ask us what is currently available.
Two operating hubs: Santiago, Dominican Republic and Sarmenstorf, Switzerland.
Stock positioned on both sides of the Atlantic shortens lead times for the Americas, Europe and Asia, and lets us dispatch from whichever hub is closer to your line.
