Tim Williams, Business Development Manager for Sales Tobacco, and Jeffrey G. Bassett, Managing Director of Fi-Tech, spent the week of 4 March 2026 in the Dominican Republic with the Protabaco team, visiting nearly every cigarette and cigar manufacturer in the country.
The visits served as the formal introduction of the Fi-Tech, Arkote and Protabaco alliance to Dominican producers, covering the Arkote knife range, Adamantine diamond grinding discs, and the stock now held locally in Santiago.
Holding stock in Santiago allows manufacturers in the region to draw on Arkote products directly rather than ordering internationally and waiting.
